How Can You Improve Your Odds at Roulette

There are a few “tricks” to improve your odds at roulette. But I have to be honest with you: there is no system or strategy that will enable you to beat roulette. This is a game of luck, and the odds are always in favor of the casino. While you might win during one evening, in the long run, you will lose your money.

Nevertheless, I have a few tips for you on how you can improve your odds at roulette.

Stick to the outside bets like black/red

As mentioned before, with these bets you have an almost 50% chance to win. Don’t bet on single numbers, where you only have a chance to win of less than 3%. If you bet on single numbers, it will become frustrating. What many players then do is that they place multiple bets on single numbers, which will result in losing their funds quickly.

Combine outside bets

If placing your bets on “red” or “black” is not thrilling enough for you, you can start combining bets. For example, you can both place a bet on “1-18” and on “red”. That way, you’ll roughly win every three out of four games.

About every fourth game, you will lose both bets, two out of four times you’ll win one bet and get your wager back, and in nearly every fourth game you will win both bets.

Play European roulette

I don’t want to repeat myself as I’ve mentioned this several times, but the European wheel has just one “0” (as opposed to the American wheel with a “0” and a “00”), and therefore the house advantage is only 2.7% every game. For example, you can play European roulette at Betonline.

Good luck!
